Вот насчёт "бумкания" у меня есть смутное подозрение, что это из-за того, что у моих ушей чувствительность на нижних частотах диапазона немного хуже, чем у большинства людей.

Впрочем, это ж midi - можно и подрулить уровни, сообразно собственному вкусу.
